hirify.global is a rapidly growing provider of a database-as-a-service platform that leverages Vitess to offer horizontal scaling for MySQL and Postgres databases.

What you will do

• Advise and handle technical support requests for enterprise customers using the hirify.global platform.
• Act as the primary customer-facing subject-matter expert to drive successful outcomes for clients.
• Identify, escalate, and prioritize product gaps and bugs by working closely with Engineering and Sales Engineering teams.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to manage and resolve high-priority production issues.
• Troubleshoot complex database performance and architectural problems directly with clients.

Requirements

• Experience supporting production-grade databases and applications at scale.
• Deep understanding of database internals and performance tuning, specifically PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers via email, Slack, and video conferencing.
• Ability to perform under pressure during urgent production incidents.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with application deployment frameworks such as Python, Go, Node, or PHP.
• Contributions to open-source database or infrastructure projects.
