What you will do

• Assess and manage allegations related to authors, reviewers, and editors, including plagiarism and authorship disputes.
• Support editorial teams in evaluating ethical concerns and determining appropriate actions like retractions or corrections.
• Collaborate with Legal and Communications departments on complex multi-journal cases.
• Provide guidance and training on ethical policies to internal stakeholders and the wider research community.
• Contribute to the enhancement of ethical policies and ethics-related tool workflows.
• Act as a subject-matter expert on research integrity initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, Oxford, or Amsterdam
• Five or more years of professional experience in scholarly publishing, editorial roles, or research integrity.
• Strong understanding of peer-review processes and COPE ethical guidelines.
• English proficiency: High level required
• Experience collaborating with senior academic stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to handle sensitive and complex matters with integrity.
