Privacy Lead (Legal)

TL;DR

Privacy Lead (Legal): Implementing and coordinating privacy governance measures within the company in alignment with the Group Privacy Program with an accent on operational execution of privacy controls and internal oversight of personal data processing. Focus on managing privacy risks, conducting DPIAs, and ensuring compliance across international operations.

Location: Hybrid model requiring 3 days per week in the office; must be based in or able to commute to the Netherlands, Malta, or Estonia.

What you will do

• Maintain and manage the inventory of personal data, including vendor and system processing records.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments such as DPIAs and LIAs for internal projects and external vendors.
• Monitor processing activities and identify gaps in existing privacy practices to propose remediation.
• Handle data subject requests and support the management of personal data incidents or breaches.
• Provide operational support to the Group Privacy Officer and facilitate privacy awareness training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and department representatives to ensure local compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Law or equivalent legal qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in privacy, data protection, or legal compliance.
• Practical experience with privacy management systems such as OneTrust.
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
• Experience in multinational or regulated environments is highly preferred.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications in Data Protection, Information Security, or Compliance.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to operational jurisdictions.
