Location: Must be based in Mountain View, CA (On-site 5 days/week), with occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Define and execute the vision and product direction for the AI events business line.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale flagship developer conferences.
• Identify and pursue monetization models including sponsorships and content partnerships.
• Coordinate cross-functional workflows between marketing, production, finance, and content teams.
• Curate practical, hands-on technical agendas that deliver value to the AI developer community.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing events team to support organizational growth.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of total professional experience.
• 3+ years in operations, general management, or event leadership within tech/AI.
• Strong entrepreneurial background in building new business lines or programs.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and manage large-scale operational budgets.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days/week in Mountain View, CA.
• Deep passion for and understanding of the AI developer community and ecosystem.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the AI conference landscape such as NeurIPS, ICML, or Google I/O.
• Background in developer marketing or technical relations.
• Experience building a business from the ground up.
