What you will do

• Serve as a strategic communications partner to senior leadership, supporting executive visibility and thought leadership.
• Identify compelling stories that highlight GoFundMe’s role in nonprofit impact and innovation in fundraising.
• Support communications for product launches and key announcements, including messaging development and media outreach.
• Support incident response and crisis communications, helping develop messaging and coordinating communications.
• Collaborate closely with teams across product, marketing, and leadership to advance communications priorities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic communications.
• Experience supporting executive thought leadership, including writing op-eds and executive social media.
• Strong media relations experience with a track record of securing press and podcast interviews.
• Experience supporting crisis communications or incident response.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Deep familiarity with the nonprofit, philanthropy, fundraising, or social impact sectors.
• Experience supporting B2B or enterprise-focused products, ideally within technology, SaaS, or platform companies.
