What you will do
- Design, build, and test core platform services including reporting, dashboards, risk management, and payments.
- Lead architectural decisions for foundational systems and own their performance throughout the lifecycle.
- Scale one of the world's largest Ruby on Rails and React applications.
- Prototype, iterate, and launch internal features and APIs in a fast-paced environment.
- Mentor engineers and set high standards for technical craft and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with product, data, and design teams to address complex customer needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong experience building scalable, efficient, and reliable software platforms.
- Proven ability to own and execute multi-quarter, complex engineering projects.
- Passion for experimenting with AI frameworks and leveraging AI to accelerate development.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse engineering and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Interest in working within a collaborative, test-driven development environment.
