What you will do

• Design, build, and test core platform services including reporting, dashboards, risk management, and payments.
• Lead architectural decisions for foundational systems and own their performance throughout the lifecycle.
• Scale one of the world's largest Ruby on Rails and React applications.
• Prototype, iterate, and launch internal features and APIs in a fast-paced environment.
• Mentor engineers and set high standards for technical craft and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with product, data, and design teams to address complex customer needs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong experience building scalable, efficient, and reliable software platforms.
• Proven ability to own and execute multi-quarter, complex engineering projects.
• Passion for experimenting with AI frameworks and leveraging AI to accelerate development.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse engineering and business stakeholders.
