What you will do

• Collaborate with portfolio managers on public and private asset-backed finance investment strategies.
• Perform comprehensive asset-backed underwriting, including assessing underlying collateral and bond cash flow modeling.
• Conduct regular credit surveillance and market research using Excel, programming, and AI tools.
• Develop relationships with loan originators and sell-side contacts to facilitate deal flow.
• Formulate and communicate investment trade ideas to generate alpha across the Fixed Income platform.
• Assist in product development and commercialize asset-backed investment capabilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in underwriting asset-backed securities or private asset-backed finance investments.
• Proficiency in Intex and Bloomberg.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to commute to the Atlanta office at least 4 days per week.

• Python and VBA programming skills.
• CFA Charterholder or candidate.
