What you will do

• Design, develop, and test software for class I, II, and III medical devices per software standards, e.g. IEC62304.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to entry-level software engineers.
• Participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code, and other engineering artifacts, ensuring timely delivery to meet program commitments.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives for the software team.
• Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will increase team velocity.
• Work collaboratively across functions and with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality products to the marketplace.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of technical experience.
• Passion for creating high-quality software and documentation.
• Strong Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in two or more of the following technologies: C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C#, .NET, Python, Angular, Xamarin.
• Object-oriented design and implementation.
