What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex transactional and invoicing issues by identifying root causes through data analysis.
• Monitor billing system KPIs and proactively flag anomalies to prevent recurring operational issues.
• Develop business cases and actionable insights using SQL and data tools to guide product and operational decisions.
• Design, document, and implement operational playbooks and workflows to support global billing processes.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding and automation tools to build lightweight internal tools and scale operational impact.
• Partner with product, engineering, and local operations teams to align procedures and drive platform improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in billing operations, fintech, or finance-related functions.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with large datasets in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of online payment flows, billing architecture, and invoicing principles.
• Fluent English is required for communication with stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to own and resolve issues independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with tax, fiscalization, or VAT compliance is highly regarded.

Nice to have

• Experience in fraud detection or multi-market tax/VAT compliance.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding or automation platforms like Cursor, Claude, Zapier, or n8n.
