Solutions Engineer

TL;DR

Solutions Engineer: Guiding customers through the technical journey of adopting speech technology with an accent on solution design, proof-of-concept delivery, and technical validation. Focus on building demos, writing code, deploying environments, and solving real customer problems.

Location: Hybrid, 2-3 designated office days each week in Cambridge, England, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Partner with Sales to lead the technical pre-sales process from discovery to close.
• Understand customer requirements and designing practical solutions.
• Build and deliver technical demos, prototypes, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Deploy and configure environments in cloud or on-prem setups for customer evaluations.
• Write scripts or lightweight integrations (Python or JavaScript) to support demos and customer testing.
• Troubleshoot customer challenges and guiding them toward successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or similar).
• Hands-on programming ability in Python.
• Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying or configuring software in cloud, Linux, containers, or networked environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate customer needs into workable solutions.
• Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with customers.
