What you will do

• Design and build products that help companies grow, owning the process from concept to production code using React and TypeScript.
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs and propose product designs, helping to write the specifications.
• Set the visual bar for client work by establishing design patterns, component libraries, and design standards.
• Understand the capabilities of Output.ai to propose the right product experience for each client's needs.

Requirements

• Designer who codes, comfortable with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
• Strong opinions about design and cares about the craft, expressing it through speed.
• Product-minded, thinking about the user's goals and pushing back on features that don't make sense.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and can turn vague briefs into clear, opinionated designs.
• AI-native, staying on top of how AI is changing design and interaction patterns.
• Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country of residence. We are not able to provide employment visa sponsorship at this time.

Nice to have

• A portfolio of shipped products, not just mockups.
• Experience designing developer tools, data products, or B2B SaaS.
• Strong motion design sense.
• Contributions to open-source design systems or component libraries.
• Agency or studio background where you shipped across multiple domains quickly.
• Experience with data visualization or complex information design.
