Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - Netherlands

Salary: €70,000–€100,000 EUR per year, excluding bonus, equity, commission, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure based on KVM Linux, Kubernetes, and public cloud providers.
• Analyze and troubleshoot operating system, application, and system performance issues.
• Maintain platform security and observability using nftables and monitoring tools.
• Deploy and manage systems and software across Kubernetes, OpenStack, and diverse environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation tools with Python, Golang, and Bash.
• Support secure access and reliable operation across global platforms and applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Linux/UNIX system administration or a SysAdmin role.
• Strong understanding of web security, security protocols, and SSH.
• Knowledge of PGP, SSH, PKI, and multifactor authentication.
• Deep understanding of DHCP, ARP, subnetting, routing, NAT, firewalls, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Active exploration and practical integration of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Extensive experience with OpenStack and Ceph.
• Deep Linux expertise from dedicated SysAdmin roles.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or other secrets management systems.
