Site Reliability Engineer

TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer: Building and optimizing flexible, high-availability infrastructure to minimize incidents and speed up feature delivery with an accent on system resilience and automation. Focus on troubleshooting cloud-based solutions, participating in pipeline creation, and migrating infrastructure and application services.

Location: Office-based role located in Nicosia, Cyprus. Relocation assistance and allowance provided.

• Minimize incidents and improve system availability, performance, and security.
• Accelerate time-to-delivery of new features to customers.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure system resilience.
• Participate in the creation of application pipelines and infrastructure migration.
• Automate work and develop dynamic environments.
• Assist development teams with emerging issues and write documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of Linux troubleshooting, including networking and file systems.
• Experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.
• Experience with containers and platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with administration of RabbitMQ/Kafka.
• Experience with administration of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to focus, manage time, and be a team player.
