Senior System Engineer (Python/Golang)

What you will do

• Build and maintain tools, infrastructure, and services for hirify.global’s large-scale global network.
• Develop software solutions that improve network resilience and reduce engineering operational toil.
• Design and deliver practical, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Work across new and existing infrastructure and services to solve complex engineering problems.
• Use AI tools and automated assistants to streamline daily workflows and project delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or software engineering.
• Deep understanding of modern Linux internals and distributed systems infrastructure.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing, metrics-driven alerting, and reliable fault-tolerant system design.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols and network APIs such as gRPC/gNMI and NETCONF.
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, SaltStack, declarative configuration management, or state-reconciliation systems.
• Experience managing internal or external customer requirements and expectations.
• Experience working alongside AI assistants or automated tools.
