What you will do
- Create and maintain high-quality PBR materials and surface treatments.
- Develop and manage Substance Designer graphs for tileable materials and surface details.
- Collaborate with environment artists to ensure seamless integration of materials in-game.
- Contribute to the documentation of material workflows, standards, and libraries.
- Track and resolve material-related bugs during production and post-production phases.
Requirements
- Must reside in Ontario, Canada.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic proficiency in material and surface creation.
- 3+ years of experience in video game production with at least one shipped title.
- Proficiency in Substance Designer and Substance Painter.
- Solid understanding of PBR workflows, UV layout, and texture optimization.
- Strong understanding of color theory and real-world surface physics.
