Salary: $77,500 – $87,500 CAD

What you will do

• Create complex materials for characters, weapons, and environmental assets.
• Manage Unreal Engine Blueprints for gameplay interactables and environmental elements.
• Establish workflows and technical tools for the art team.
• Execute various visual effects styles from realistic to stylized.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize content across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in the game industry with at least one shipped title.
• Must be currently located in Ontario or British Columbia, Canada.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating game technical art skills.
• Expertise in Unreal Engine (Blueprints, material editor, technical systems).
• Proficiency in PBR principles and texturing tools like Substance Designer and Painter.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Niagara systems and Lumen lighting.
• Knowledge of procedural tools and automation.
• Experience with optimization for multiple platforms including mobile and next-gen consoles.
