What you will do

• Join the system architecture team working on next-generation PHY design.
• Model and simulate communication systems using different system-design approaches.
• Work on link budgeting, non-ideality modeling, and system simulation.
• Analyze DSP challenges and opportunities for high-speed serial data transmission.
• Compare optimization directions and generate performance-versus-cost trade-off curves.
• Collaborate with analog and digital designers through technical discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

• Last year of a master's degree in electrical engineering for a thesis internship, or a master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field for a post-degree internship.
• Familiarity with digital communications and digital signal processing.
• Experience or familiarity with communication-system simulation.
• Good understanding of analog and digital design is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and curiosity.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
