Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Munich, Germany (Hybrid setup).

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend and frontend components for the IVION web platform.
• Develop and extend the Java/Spring-based application server and Angular/TypeScript web client for 3D visualization.
• Manage and evolve the PostgreSQL/PostGIS data layer for high-volume geospatial data.
• Build and enhance APIs for environment enrichment and third-party system integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement within your team.

Requirements

• Substantial software development experience, typically 7+ years in complex systems.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and modern web application architectures.
• Advanced frontend development skills using Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data-intensive service development (PostgreSQL/PostGIS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional, diverse environments.
• Relocation to Munich, Germany is required as the role is hybrid.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of C++ for specific project modules.
• Exposure to AWS services, 3D graphics, or WebGL development.
