Senior Full Stack Engineer (Mobile Gaming)

Location: Hybrid in Hamburg, Germany; work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Python backend services and APIs using REST and GraphQL.
• Integrate internal and external APIs to maintain reliable data flows across the platform.
• Develop user-facing web and mobile applications with Vue or Nuxt, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and responsive frameworks such as Tailwind.
• Own features end to end from idea to production, ensuring testing, observability, maintainability, and seamless frontend-backend integration.
• Optimize backend processes and distributed systems for high traffic and contribute to containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, QA, and backend engineers to deliver user-oriented solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance full stack applications.
• Strong proficiency in API development and integration with REST and GraphQL, using Python as the primary language.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and frameworks such as Vue or Nuxt.
• Experience with responsive frameworks such as Tailwind and familiarity with UI animations and transitions.
• Practical understanding of distributed systems and high-volume workloads.
• Use of AI tools in daily work for planning, building, testing, and documenting, while maintaining strong engineering judgment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, holistic problem-solving, and the ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term system health.
• Clear English communication and comfort working with designers, product managers, QA, and fellow engineers.
