Assistant Showrunner (Minecraft)

Location: Austin, TX; onsite role. Candidates must be based in Austin or willing to relocate within a reasonable time of hiring.

Salary: $68,000–$75,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support the Showrunner in preparing, producing, and quality-checking daily videos.
• Coordinate communication between production teams and help lead the team through daily video production.
• Contribute to concept development, story pitches, run-throughs, recording sessions, and video edit reviews.
• Monitor production steps, identify issues, propose solutions, and improve production processes and pipelines.
• Approve in-game assets, assist with Minecraft-related tasks, and maintain production timelines and documentation.
• Provide coverage during weekend review rotations and continue production when the Showrunner is unavailable.

Requirements

• Understanding of Minecraft commands, mods, and limitations.
• 1–2 years of experience in video production, preferably in entertainment or digital media.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing content priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate within a reasonable time of hiring.
