Value Chain Designer

TL;DR

Value Chain Designer: Driving initiatives to optimize the end-to-end value chain, focusing on product availability, cost efficiency, and quality throughout the product lifecycle with an accent on logistics, operations, and engineering partnerships. Focus on identifying and eliminating waste, leading process redesigns, and facilitating root cause analysis to support business objectives and customer expectations.

Location: Must work onsite five days a week at the Peoria, IL office.

What you will do

• Analyze value chains to identify cost and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Develop value stream maps to support strategic network planning.
• Build business cases and capability assessments to recommend improvements.
• Implement process enhancements and digital tools, ensuring alignment across functions.
• Identify and eliminate waste using lean principles.
• Lead process redesigns to meet compliance and strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in analyzing workflows, documenting requirements, and designing efficient processes.
• Strong ability to assess inefficient processes and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Skilled in applying problem-solving techniques and cost-benefit evaluations.
• Proficient in mapping complex processes and aligning stakeholders.
• Familiar with RCA methodologies to identify underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
