Backend Developer Typescript

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with a balance between office and home working.

hirify.global operates an ecommerce platform and develops website features, microservices, and internal tools for customer service.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain TypeScript microservices and website features.
• Build cloud-based solutions using AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Review pull requests and perform code reviews with a team of 3–7 developers.
• Collaborate with Customer Journey Specialists and UX/UI Designers.
• Automate recurring tasks and integrate them into CI/CD systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js; knowledge of pure PHP is an advantage.
• BSc or MSc degree, for example in Computer Science.
• Ability to coach colleagues and contribute to technical and soft-skill development.
• Must live in the Netherlands.
