Backend Developer (Typescript): Optimizing crucial parts of the website by designing and maintaining microservices in TypeScript with an accent on improving internal tools. Location: A fine balance between working at the office and working from home. You could crawl to work from Rotterdam Central Station.

What you will do

• Make an impact with your efficient and elegant TypeScript code.
• Write automated tests, such as Unit tests, Integration tests, or End-to-End tests.
• Work in a cloud environment with AWS services like Lambda, SNS + SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
• Solve problems using SOLID principles and design patterns to ensure top-notch code quality.
• Build microservices that work together seamlessly.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with TypeScript. Experience with Node.js and pure/vanilla PHP is a plus.
• You have a BSc or MSc, for example in Computer Science.
• You’re ready to further develop your technical and soft skills while coaching and helping your colleagues grow.
• You’re a hero at automating recurring tasks and integrating them seamlessly into CI/CD systems.
