What you will do

• Conduct applied research in self-supervised and representation learning for downstream task fine-tuning.

• Operationalize models for production deployment with focus on robustness and observability.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to translate research into member-facing features.
• Mentor engineers and define the architectural direction for foundation model development.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in CS, ML, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in applied ML, AI research, or large-scale modeling.
• Deep expertise in transformers and modern multimodal training methods.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Track record of successfully delivering production-grade machine learning systems.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA for this on-site role.
