What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures and complex ingestion frameworks.
• Build and optimize high-performance ETL/ELT workflows and distributed data processing systems.
• Lead technical initiatives to ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across all platforms.
• Define architectural direction and establish best practices for CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor senior and junior engineering staff to promote engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Must be located in the US and available for work in EST or CST time zones.
• 8+ years of combined software and data engineering experience in distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience architecting and maintaining advanced reporting and analytics tools.
• 3+ years of experience working within highly regulated industries (healthcare/homecare preferred).
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and modern cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Demonstrated ability to influence architectural decisions and lead large-scale data projects.

Nice to have

• Experience designing data platforms supporting AI/ML and LLM-driven workflows.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as EHR or HL7/FHIR.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI development and AI-assisted tooling.
