Senior Frontend Infrastructure Engineer (Web3)

Location: New York, hybrid

Salary: $180,000–$226,000 annual minimum base salary, plus token compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and evolve shared frontend infrastructure, including design systems, UI component libraries, React Query data-fetching layers, notification systems, and shared services for web and mobile.
• Contribute to product and design engineering work across user-facing applications.
• Build AI-powered internal tools, CLI tools, changelog builders, cherry-pick automations, and LLM-based development workflows.
• Lead large-scale migrations and establish tooling strategies that other engineering teams can follow.
• Improve release automation, CI/CD pipelines, QA tooling, application performance, and backend-for-frontend services.
• Produce tested code and architecture documentation, lead code reviews, and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep experience with React and React Native, including web and mobile development from a shared codebase.
• Experience building developer tooling, design systems, or shared infrastructure with strong product judgment.
• Experience delivering large, ambiguous projects end-to-end with minimal direction.
• Comfort with CI/CD, release engineering, testing frameworks, modern frontend architecture, styling systems, and data-fetching patterns.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in New York.

Nice to have

• Active open source contributions to projects such as wagmi, viem, Next.js, React Router, or TanStack.
• Experience building AI-powered developer tools, CLI tools, or internal LLM automations.
• Swift, Kotlin, or native mobile development experience.
• Familiarity with crypto concepts and features.
• Computer science degree or experience at a company with a strong infrastructure, platform, or developer-experience function.
