PhD Research Fellow (Web3): Conducting cutting-edge research in market economics and mechanism design for decentralized finance with an accent on crypto-economics and protocol development. Location: Remote-optional, with a strong recommendation to be based in or able to commute to our New York City office.

• Execute research projects aligned with economics, finance, or operations research.
• Develop deep industry knowledge regarding decentralized finance and protocol mechanics.

Requirements

• Must be a PhD candidate or graduate in economics, finance, or operations research.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute complex research plans.
• Strong interest in decentralized finance, crypto-economics, and blockchain.
• Proactive approach and ability to function as a self-starter.
• Must be able to participate in a 6-month fellowship starting in June 2026.
