What you will do

• Lead the development and enhancement of high-scale backend services using Rust.
• Influence architectural direction and long-term technical strategy for the platform.
• Design and implement solutions to complex technical challenges in distributed systems.
• Drive improvements in product quality, security, and system performance.
• Raise engineering standards through mentorship, code reviews, and technical workshops.
• Collaborate across product, infrastructure, and front-end teams to deliver high-quality features.

Requirements

• Expertise in Rust backend development.
• Experience in distributed systems design and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript or Node.js; experience with Dart is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in cloud computing, specifically AWS environments.
• Experience with asynchronous cryptography and identity-related authorization systems.
• Must be able to work on-site in a hybrid capacity in London.

• Familiarity with Go or C#.
