TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (C#): Building and optimizing compliance monitoring software for global financial services with an accent on cloud-native architecture, system performance, and scalability. Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work (no visa sponsorship). Role is hybrid with required office attendance in London (3 days/week initially, 2 days/week thereafter).

Salary: £90,000–£105,000/year

What you will do

  • Deliver high-impact projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Advocate for and implement platform improvements to support new product launches and market growth.
  • Take ownership of complex business problems and lead the team to successful, scalable outcomes.
  • Mentor colleagues and share best practices to foster technical and professional growth.
  • Engage with stakeholders to make informed project decisions and mitigate technical risks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a back-end developer with deep C# expertise.
  • Must have legal permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and cloud-native architectures.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to lead cross-team initiatives.
  • Commitment to clean code, automated testing, and continuous deployment practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid team environment in London.
