Salary: $180,000–$230,000 (geographic dependent)

What you will do

• Provide proactive legal advice on trademark usage, open-source software, and generative AI tools.
• Enforce intellectual property rights by investigating infringements, drafting cease & desist letters, and managing litigation.
• Oversee prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications managed by outside counsel.
• Collaborate with brand attorneys on product, marketing, and promotional legal reviews.
• Develop and document best practices for internal policies regarding trade secrets, copyrights, and intellectual property training.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and active state bar membership required.
• Minimum 6 years of intellectual property law experience at a top law firm or in-house department.
• Proven experience managing both patent prosecution and contentious enforcement matters.
• Demonstrated success in litigating trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and project management skills.
