What you will do

• Lead the Cloud Foundations team's roadmap, strategy, and execution to drive measurable quarterly outcomes.
• Shape platform-level infrastructure strategy in partnership with other leadership pillars.
• Direct cloud infrastructure initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, security, and cost management.
• Build tools and automation to make systems more consistent, observable, and self-service.
• Partner with product engineering teams to improve developer velocity and overall experience.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and inclusion.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in management.
• Deep technical background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Proven success leading reliability, automation, and cost-efficiency efforts at scale.
• Ability to operate at both the team-level (hands-on leadership) and platform-level (cross-team strategy).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional environments.
• Must be based in New York, NY for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience operating Kubernetes at scale.
• Background in modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with cost management at scale.
• Prior experience in strategic, architect, or staff-engineer roles.
