What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performing DevX engineering team, providing coaching, feedback, and clear expectations.
• Set and communicate the architectural direction for developer experience in partnership with Staff/Principal engineers.
• Own a roadmap of technical investments to maximize engineering effectiveness and productivity.
• Identify and integrate high-ROI AI-assisted development tools (code assistants, internal agents) into the SDLC.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle for team services, emphasizing clean, well-tested, and efficient code.
• Champion engineering best practices in reliability, observability, performance, and security across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software design and development experience building production systems.
• 3+ years in an Engineering Manager or equivalent technical leadership role leading production teams.
• Experience with large-scale performant web applications, distributed systems, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with strongly typed backend languages (Java, C#) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience applying modern AI tools to improve developer experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
