Android Developer

TL;DR

Android Developer (Kotlin/Android): Developing and maintaining secure, high-availability Android apps with an accent on reactive patterns, mobile database usage, and architectural patterns. Focus on building conversational UI interactions, improving performance, and shipping clean, maintainable code with unit/integration testing and CI/CD.

Location: Hybrid, in our Boston office 3 days/ week.

Salary: $150-$170k

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Android applications.
• Build UI interactions using a conversational UI approach in collaboration with UI/UX and product designers.
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code and iterate quickly to ship.
• Deliver end-to-end outcomes for US customers, including core partner integrations (e.g., Workday).

Requirements

• Proficiency with Kotlin, common Android frameworks, and reactive patterns.
• Strong understanding of mobile databases.
• Detailed knowledge of architectural patterns and how to apply them.
• Experience writing responsive, accessible, and maintainable UI components.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, continuous integration, and delivery.
• Examples of published apps you have worked on.
