What you will do

• Manage RMF accreditation processes and security control documentation according to NIST and DoD standards.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation, and patch management using tools like ACAS and Nessus.
• Conduct regular audit log reviews and monitor system security health.
• Develop and track Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for identified system deficiencies.
• Coordinate Interconnection Security Agreements and ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
• Serve as the primary incident handler for all security-related events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Proof of US citizenship.
• DOD 8140 or NIST 800-181 certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+).
• In-depth knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-37, and NIST 800-53 frameworks.
• Strong experience with STIGs, vulnerability assessment tools, and secure system configuration.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM AIX, Cisco, Juniper, and VMware environments.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, BASH) for security automation.
• Familiarity with SDA/C2 mission environments and NIPR/SIPR systems.
