What you will do

• Execute the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program for Windows and Linux infrastructure.
• Manage enterprise-wide patch management cadence and drive vulnerability remediation.
• Enforce infrastructure configuration baselines and monitor for drift.
• Coordinate with network and systems teams to implement security fixes within defined SLAs.
• Prepare and maintain operational evidence for audits including CMMC, SOC2, and ISO 27001.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for security-related infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure security or systems administration with a security focus.
• Strong hands-on technical proficiency with Windows and Linux environments.
• Demonstrated experience with patch management and vulnerability remediation processes.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks like CMMC, SOC2, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with SIEM, endpoint protection, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Must be able to work onsite in Syracuse, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and automation.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and M365/Entra security.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
