What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle for new platform capabilities and system integrations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with research teams to integrate and scale next-generation AI models.
• Design and maintain highly available infrastructure capable of handling billions of requests and petabytes of data.
• Ensure production systems meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience in product-driven tech companies.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and managing distributed systems at scale.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, loosely defined environments.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Background as a former founder or early-stage startup engineer.
• Demonstrated experience building products from scratch.
• Interest in or experience working with AI/ML systems.
