Salary: $204,000 – $255,000

What you will do

• Lead technical vision and architecture for AI-powered internal productivity platforms.
• Architect and implement production-ready AI/ML systems and LLM-integrated features.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align platform investments with strategic priorities.
• Mentor and develop engineers across multiple career stages (L7-L9).
• Define engineering best practices, including standards for testing, observability, and operational excellence.
• Lead incident response and drive remediation for complex production issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in distributed systems at scale.
• Must reside in the United States and be eligible to work from a state with a registered hirify.global entity.
• Expert proficiency in modern languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong background in API design (REST, GraphQL) and performance optimization.
• Proven experience building and integrating systems with AI/ML and LLM technologies.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building enterprise-grade internal tools or developer productivity platforms.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and large-scale messaging systems (Kafka).
• Background in frontend technologies (React, Next.js).
• Experience with agentic development strategies and AI-assisted coding tools.
