What you will do

• Design, build, and operate end-to-end production AI agents and RAG pipelines.
• Extend and contribute to the unified AI platform using FastAPI and PydanticAI.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to integrate AI capabilities into existing workflows.
• Develop and maintain backend services and occasional frontend interfaces to support internal tools.
• Ensure observability, reliability, and error handling for production AI systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in production AI systems.
• Strong Python backend proficiency with frameworks like FastAPI and tools like Pydantic.
• Experience building agentic workflows (e.g., LangGraph, AI-SDK).
• Familiarity with foundational model APIs and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis from Austin, Mountain View, or Sherman Oaks.

Nice to have

• Background in LegalTech or regulated industries.
• TypeScript experience with Vercel AI-SDK.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
