What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain real-time embedded software using C++ in a Linux environment.
• Develop deterministic systems that meet strict timing and reliability requirements.
• Interface software with FPGAs via memory-mapped I/O, DMA, and custom protocols.
• Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, and systems teams to define clear interfaces.
• Debug complex issues occurring across hardware and software boundaries.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the technical direction of the radar signal processing pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Deep understanding of real-time embedded fundamentals including latency, concurrency, and memory management.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with signal processing or sensor systems.
• Proficiency with Yocto Linux.
• Experience with Modern C++ (C++11 and later).
