What you will do

• Design and implement a standardized, scalable build process for Linux based embedded applications.
• Shape and enhance build tools and processes that enable consistent, high-quality application configurations across the enterprise.
• Perform application readiness and checkout activities prior to deployment, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with system teams to identify and close gaps in the embedded/Linux software development toolchain.
• Create new workflows and continuously improve existing processes.
• Provide clear communication on project status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proficiency in requirements analysis tools and techniques.
• Understanding and using methods and resources that support thorough analysis.
• Knowledge of software design and development tools and activities for embedded applications.
• Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to clearly convey and interpret information using appropriate communication methods, tools, and techniques.

Nice to have

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Skilled in using software development tools including Ubuntu, Git, Artifactory, and Python.
• Exposure to CI/CD systems (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Demonstrated experience in Linux based software development.
