Location: Must be based in one of the following 40 states: AL, AR, AZ, CA (exempt only), CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, and WI.

Salary: $75 – $105 per hour

What you will do

• Advise on property tax protest regulations and compliance to inform product development.
• Translate county-level filing procedures and appraisal practices into practical customer guidance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for product design, ensuring operational feasibility and regulatory accuracy.
• Analyze protest submission workflows, timelines, and documentation requirements.
• Support the development of solutions for handling appraisal board hearings and protest strategies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the Texas or Georgia property tax protest and appeals process.
• Must hold a Senior Property Tax Consultant License.
• Must reside in one of the 40 specified US states.
• Strong familiarity with county-specific procedures and filing requirements.
• Experience advising on or participating in appraisal review board hearings.
• Ability to bridge the gap between complex tax regulations and product requirements.
