Salary: $200,000–$230,000

What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and hire a high-performing team of engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Own the team’s roadmap and delivery functionality in partnership with Product Management.
• Instill operational best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Translate technical complexities of data synchronization and analytics for non-technical stakeholders.
• Streamline integration velocity with external systems and EHR platforms.
• Guide technical architecture and review code in a TypeScript/Node.js environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• 3+ years of experience in Engineering Management within a product-led environment.
• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with data-intensive or distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of integrations and managing complex data synchronization.
• Experience with AWS ecosystems (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS) and databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code for task automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with HL7, FHIR, or major EHR platform integrations.
• Background in managing data pipelines for high-frequency telemetry from IoT hardware.
• Sufficient knowledge of React to support analytics dashboard development.
