About the Role
You will manage up to two teams of 2-4 engineers each, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support. You will collaborate with product, design, and research to prioritize roadmaps, drive technical decisions, ensure scalable and maintainable solutions, define and track KPIs, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of software engineering management experience
- Hiring management experience
- Agile software engineering experience
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Web development
- Node.js
- React
- Git
- GitHub
- Experience developing software and solutions for consumer facing products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Web3 software development experience (bonus)
- Open source software contribution (bonus)
- MetaMask user (bonus)
Responsibilities
- Manage up to two teams of 2-4 engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Collaborate with product, design, and research to develop and prioritize product roadmaps
- Foster innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning
- Drive technical decision-making to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Integrate and collaborate with other engineering teams across the MetaMask ecosystem
- Define and track KPIs to measure impact and inform product decisions
- Communicate technical plans and progress to stakeholders
