What you will do

• Collaborate with tier 1 customers and internal engineering teams to define system and performance requirements and architecture for complex IC designs.
• Gather and consider product requirements, system-level components, and digital/analog process technologies to propose viable solutions.
• Author and present IC and system level use cases to the cross-functional silicon development team.
• Generate and author systems requirements and specifications to be used by design, emulation, and test teams.
• Evaluate ICs in the lab alongside bring-up, applications, and test teams.
• Perform thorough competitive analysis including lab investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in applications engineering or product definition supporting low/mid power audio amplifiers, Class D amplifiers, or mixed-signal integrated circuits for audio processing in portable electronic products.
• Must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license.
• We are unable to sponsor or obtain export licenses for this role.

Nice to have

• MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
