What you will do

• Perform bench testing, debugging, and characterization of embedded on-chip circuitry to ensure datasheet compliance.
• Develop and debug silicon validation board-level hardware and bring up platforms.
• Build automated test frameworks and regression test suites using Python and TestStand.
• Analyze test data using tools like Spotfire and JMP to identify failures and defects.
• Collaborate with design, systems, and application engineering peers on use cases and technical requirements.
• Support automation software for test equipment including NI STS and PXIe platforms.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Fundamental understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python, for automation and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to access technical data without export license requirements due to export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with production mixed-signal IC testers such as NI-STS (HSDIO, DSA, SMU, FPGA).
• Hands-on lab experience including soldering and system instrumentation.
• Background in failure analysis and statistical analysis.
