Salary: $200,000 - $265,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead complex frontend initiatives end-to-end, partnering with multiple teams to deliver experiences used by millions.
• Provide technical leadership by shaping architecture, guiding implementation, and helping engineers execute effectively.
• Contribute high-quality code and set the standard for frontend engineering practices.
• Partner with product leadership and designers to build thoughtful, user-centered experiences.
• Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability across hirify.global’s web platform.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design discussions.

Requirements

• Strong frontend fundamentals (rendering, state management, performance profiling, browser behavior, and testing strategy).
• Track record of mentoring engineers and raising the quality bar across teams.
• Ability to embrace ambiguous problems and drive them toward clear solutions.
• Product minded and care deeply about UX and polish.
• Ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs and communicate decisions clearly.
• Leverage and experiment with new AI tools effectively while applying strong engineering judgement.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer building complex and scalable frontend systems and components.
• Experience working on large-scale consumer or content platforms.
• Deep proficiency in React and Typescript.
• Experience operating at scale (millions of users, continuous delivery, feature flags, A/B testing).
