What you will do

• Build new services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs.
• Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and the teams running them.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap.
• Write high quality, well tested code to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services, and composing a service oriented architecture.
• Ability to write high quality, well tested code to meet customer needs.
• Passion for building an open financial system.
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with rapid company growth (from startup to mid-size).
• Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience with Blockchain technology.
• Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
• Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Experience building financial, high reliability or security systems.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity.
