What you will do

• Lead, grow, and retain a team of frontend engineers, setting a high bar for technical quality and engineering craft.
• Drive key technical decisions and roll up your sleeves when it matters.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape roadmaps, scope work, and deliver with confidence.
• Establish and improve engineering processes that keep the team moving fast without accumulating unmanageable tech debt.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering peers and stakeholders across EU and US timezones.
• Hire and develop talent, building a team culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in a professional setting.
• Strong frontend engineering background with hands-on familiarity across the modern stack — React, Vue, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Full-stack exposure sufficient to reason about system-level dependencies and collaborate effectively with backend and infrastructure teams.
• Demonstrated ability to make and drive technical decisions.
• Proven experience partnering with Product Management and Design to deliver end-to-end features and products.
• Based in France or Spain, with the ability to work comfortably across EU business hours.

Nice to have

• 5+ years managing software engineering teams, including senior engineers or tech leads.
• Domain knowledge in Product Analytics, Digital Experience Analytics, or adjacent fields.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and a track record of helping teams incorporate them effectively.
• Experience managing distributed teams across US, EU, and other timezones.
