What you will do

• Drive storytelling development and execution, bringing a fresh perspective to the content.
• Own the development process: lead brainstorming sessions, generate ideas for new pilots and existing series, and execute on creating profitable IP from start to finish.
• Establish visual best practices and define the look and feel of series and pilots with brand stakeholders.
• Direct production crews and talent for both studio and field video shoots, serving as a decisive, organized creative leader with a clear vision.
• Collaborate with brand video programming leads to build a balanced cross-platform video and audio pipeline that aligns with the food brands.
• Identify and develop new talent, both internal and external.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in the digital video space as a professional and capable leader.
• 5+ years experience directing videos and managing production crews, large and small. Experience with multi-camera setups and directing untrained on-camera talent is required.
• Established creative sensibility, with end-to-end experience in concept creation and execution of digital videos that have driven deep, organic engagement across multiple platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, with proven experience managing a team of creative producers and juggling multiple projects at once.
• Based in the NYC area.
