Location: Hybrid (requires occasional in-person attendance as requested).
Salary: $128,250 - $266,875/yr.

What you will do
- Define and evolve the visual identity for first-party games while ensuring alignment with the brand.
- Create high-quality game art assets including UI elements, environments, characters, and animations.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted tools for rapid concepting, visual variation, and asset production efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Game Design, Product Management, and Engineering to shape game experiences.
- Manage external partners and contract artists, ensuring high visual quality and consistent standards.
- Support promotional campaigns and marketing art in collaboration with growth and design studio teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a game artist or visual designer.
- Extensive experience with casual games for desktop and mobile web.
- Strong portfolio showcasing visual direction, UI design, and production-ready assets.
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Experience managing external studios or contract artists.
- Deep understanding of asset optimization and production pipelines.
Nice to have
- Experience with live-ops games and content updates.
- Familiarity with motion design tools like After Effects, Spine, Lottie, or Rive.
- Background in creating promotional or marketing art for games.
- Experience defining style guides and visual systems.
