TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Sofia office (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Lead the art team, defining visual standards and creative direction for game projects.
  • Mentor and develop graphic designers, illustrators, and animators through regular feedback and evaluations.
  • Drive the integration of AI tools to enhance artistic workflows and concept generation.
  • Manage art asset creation schedules and ensure timely delivery to the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with producers and game designers to align creative vision with market standards.
  • Define and improve processes for planning, execution, and quality control of art assets.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Senior Artist or 2 years as a Lead Artist in a production environment.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Esoteric Spine.
  • Strong background in original illustration, character design, color theory, and animation.
  • Experience in the online or social gaming industry.
  • Proven ability to lead art teams, manage schedules, and communicate technical requirements.
  • Bachelor of Arts in art, animation, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience with generative AI tools for art production.
  • Deep understanding of technical art constraints in game development.
